The Human Rights Prize from the French Republic 2013
The Human Rights Prize of the French Republic, which was created in 1988 and is endowed by the Prime Minister, is organized by the National Consultative Commission for Human Rights (NCCHR).
It rewards grass-roots activities for the effective protection and promotion of human rights, irrespective of nationality or country.
Two specific themes are selected each year. For 2013, they are :
support to internally displaced persons
protection of human rights in places of deprivation of liberty
All applications must be submitted to the NCCHR before September 9th 2013.
