The Ambassador of France does the ascension of Gokyo-Ri, 5380, (21 April 2005)
A trek led the Ambassador of France towards the highlands of Sherpas and at the summit of Gokyo Ri (Everest range, at the foot hill of Cho-Oyu).
During the period of downfall of tourists arrival because of the imposition of state of emergency (lifted since 30th April), this small event received in Nepal an important media coverage, which is summed up by a title in a daily newspaper ‘The Kathmandu Post’
