Nepal Mountaineering Association held a function in the honour of Mr. Sunar Gurung (December the 7th, 2005)

The 7th of December 2005, Nepal Mountaineering Association organised a function for Mr. Sunar Gurung, first Nepalese to be awarded, in August, the French Brevet d’Etat d’Alpinisme (aspirant-guide), an international degree issued by Ecole nationale de ski et d’alpinisme of Chamonix, France. The professional success of Mr. Sunar Gurung, confirmed by this degree, constitute a new proof of the quality of the collaboration of more than fifty years developed between high-altitude mountaineering circles in France and Nepal and, more specifically, between E.N.S.A. and its sister organisation N.M.A. During his stay in France for training at E.N.S.A., Mr. Sunar Gurung has been partly financed by Namasté Himal, a French NGO.
