Inauguration of climbing wall in Pokhara (21st May, 2006)

The ambassador inaugurated and handed over a climbing wall to ‘Nepal Mountaineering Association’. The edifice, which was erected in the garden of Mountain Museum in Pokhara, was financed by France This construction, which has six faces, three ridges and measures 22 meters, was named ‘Maurice Herzog Wall’, in the homage of the conqueror of Annapurna (3rd June, 1950).
