2000 chefs, 2000 menus in 5 continents ! Every year on March 21st, Goût de / Good France celebrates the French gastronomy and the values that she promotes in more than 150 countries.
On the occasion of the launch of the 2017 edition of Good France, French Foreign Minister Mr. Jean-Marc Ayrault and the French chef Alain Ducasse presented the restaurants distributed on the 5 continents which will highlight the art of living in the France and local products.
Gout de France / Good France is an event inspired by Auguste Escoffier who initiated in 1912 "Epicure’s Dinners": the same menu, the same day, in several cities of the world and for the greatest number of guests . }} It is also an important moment to promote Destination France where it is known that one third of tourists declare to come to France for its gastronomy, whose "gourmet meal" is classified as an intangible World Heritage by Unesco. }}
Thus, in the form of a "French-style" dinner, chefs from around the world now pay tribute to the excellence of French cuisine every year,}} to its capacity for innovation and gather around values of sharing and enjoyment with respect for the planet and health.
For this third edition, Goût de France will also focus on the schools of catering, hospitality and tourism.
