French condolences After the Seti flood.
Mr. Alain Juppé, French Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, has written to the Government of Nepal to express the French condolences after the flood of the Seti river.
It is with great sadness that I learned of the disappearance of some sixty of your fellow citizens in the floods in the Annapurna region, Saturday, May 5
I ask you kindly to convey to the families of victims of this tragic event my deepest condolences. In these difficult circumstances, I assure you of France’s solidarity with the Nepalese people.
I would also commend the work of relief and your government’s commitment to the families of the missing side and I hope that survivors can be found.
